Victor Wong, Founder and Managing Director of LEDtronics, started a joint venture partnership in 1998 with the world leader, Daktronics, Inc., USA.
Prior to setting up LEDtronics, Victor has previously worked as a Project Engineer, specializing in Project Tendering, Designing, Drafting, Reengineering, Construction, Documenting, Testing & Commissioning of Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems.
Victor has more than 17 years of experience in leadership, sales & marketing, manufacturing, engineering, customer service, procurement, finance and administration of the LED display business. Victor has proven abilities to work in diverse environments, with people of different ethnicities and beliefs, in many parts of the world and in different areas of the industry.
Under his stewardship, LEDtronics grew from a start-up company to a respectable market leader in Malaysia with over RM120 million worth of LED displays installed throughout the Southeast Asia region.
Victor is currently responsible for the overall growth, management and business development of the Company, with specific responsibilities including company’s strategy, sales and marketing, business partners and resellers development in the region, financial control and administration.
Victor holds a MBA from University of Strathclyde, Scotland and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree from University of Technology, Malaysia.
